We purchased a 6’ round cedar hot tub from Zen Bathworks about a year ago. The tub is awesome, and Zen Bathworks was very helpful when we had questions about installation and maintenance. I ping them from time to time with questions, and they are very responsive.

Our 6' Elliptical Hot Tub was provided as advertised. No problems, everything went well, We love it! The Zen folks have been great to work with. Our tub came pre-assembled. I promised that when I finished the work on the installation of our tub (which we call our onsen) I would send a few pictures. Here they are. The work was done when I could find time on weekends, so it took a long time! Except for a bit of pressure-treated fir, all of the wood is clear western red cedar. All of the fasteners are stainless steel screws. The steps are portable, and the front and top panels on the enclosure are all removable for ease of access to the plumbing, pump, and heater. (The steps are mostly for our eight-year-old, who is too little too get into the tub on his own without them.) The installation is alongside our Japanese garden, and to give it some decorative touches I added some Japanese-style lanterns and a cypress (hinoki) wood oke basin. I'm also planning eventually to build a shoji lattice between the two wooden posts, as shown in the fourth image, which is basically the view of the shoji from the onsen. We continue to enjoy our onsen almost every evening, and we look forward to continuing to do so for many years. Thank you for an excellent product, and for excellent support.
